Probate
Probate is the process of administrating a dead person’s estate. It is one of the many things that you will have to deal with after the passing of a loved one. The Probate process involves organising their money, assets and possessions and distributing them as inheritance after paying taxes and debts. We are here to help and guild you through the process. If the deceased has left a will, they may have named an administer.
This person must apply for the Grant of Probate, a document that gives them the authority to deal with the deceased’s property. Probate ends once all the taxes and debts have been paid and all the inheritance passed on.
The time it takes to complete probate can vary depending on the Will or circumstances.
